irongeek.jpgPaul and the crew have a great show in store for tonight with two awesome guests and a special tech segment. Joining PaulDotCom Security Weekly at 6 pm EST will be Adrian “Irongeek” Crenshaw. If you’re not familiar with Adrian, maybe you’re just not paying attention. Adrian is a co-founder of Derbycon and owns irongeek.com. One of the things that Adrian is best known for is his collection of security conference videos that he recorded, edited and published himself, all at irongeek.com. On top of that, he offers many tools for others to use and is one of the creators of Mutillidae, a vulnerable web application for testing and learning.
Joey_Peloquin.jpgPaul’s second guest will Joey Peloquin, who is currently the VP of product development at a mobile security startup. Joey will be on to talk about his findings in the area of mobile security, specifically Windows RT vs. Android vs. iOS. Previous to his current position, Joey was a global security architect at F5 and he was responsible for launching FishNet Security’s mobile security practice.
As if that wasn’t good enough for all of you, Paul will also be able to talk about building a security lab on the cheap. Paul just recently set up two new servers in his personal data center (a.k.a. in the basement where the water heater is). One server will be dedicated to penetration testing and having various virtual machines running, like one for the recent Active Defense Harbinger Distribution (ADHD) and the other to digitize his massive Blu-Ray collection (what??). But if this is something that you’ve been interested in, you certainly won’t want to miss it.
All that, plus the stories of the week, tonight at 6 pm!
