Hey guys, just listening to the episode now and thought I'd point out DIFRear (http://www.difrwear.com/products.shtml). They offer RFID blocking wallets and passport cases for a very reasonable price.

OK. My stab at the tune is the Dragnet themesong.

Also, if I'm correct then this is for Larry:
"Dragnet," the instrumental theme song from the radio and television show of the same name, was composed by Miklós Rózsa as part of his score for the 1946 film version of The Killers; it was modified by Walter Schumann for the show.

OK, so I guess I'll put all my answers into one post.

The music is the themesong for the Dragnet TV Show. And according to Wikipedia:
"Dragnet," the instrumental theme song from the radio and television show of the same name, was composed by Miklós Rózsa as part of his score for the 1946 film version of The Killers; it was modified by Walter Schumann for the show.

Updated Question of the Week answer: I was too fast on the trigger and missed the second part... Michael Farnham posted his OPML feeds at http://www.bloglines.com/public/m1a1vet (it was referenced at http://infosecplace.com/blog/2006/08/17/what-i-read-in-security/)

The tune is the theme from Get Smart composed by Irving Szathmar :-)

on tthe 2600 thing,
yes, Emmanual Goldstein in the 1984 character, it's a pseduonym, the guy's name is really Eric Corley. Nothing particularly useful, but none the less...

Blast! I was way off base. Sometimes being so young has its drawbacks.

But......
wasn't it Irving Szathmary (with a 'y')?

Where can we get these new t-shirts?

Yes, I believe it was Irving Szathmary, with the Y. Bummer that I was so slow on listening to the podcast. I actually knew the answers to this week. :P

I'm glad you liked the "security info porn".
